Warriors Pay it Forward

Warriors present a check in the amount of $1,231 to the Kathleen M. Garrigan Leadership Fund.

For the past few months, Wednesdays at Opportunity Knocks have been dedicated to developing a Warrior-driven community service project. The project took shape through the production, promotion and sale of handmade dog collars.

During the initial stages of planning this project, our participants chose the organizations that they wished to benefit with the proceeds. On Wednesday, November 11th we hosted some very special guest representatives from those organizations as we presented checks to the Oak Park Animal Care League and the Kathleen M. Garrigan Leadership Fund.

It was great to see such proud Warriors giving back to their community!

Collared Opportunities project raises over $500 for Oak Park Animal Care League.
